How does it Work?
Sunshine Coast Concrete Pools - Buying a Pool
Complete Pools from $28,500* - includes 7 year structural warranty and free, fully installed underwater light!
I can build just about any size pool you need, from formal, 6 meters long to 50 meters long. We can do any shape you like and will customize to your need. There is no charge for extras like steps and benches. "Sunshine Coast Concrete Pools" put extra steel reinforcement in your pool and use the correct strength of concrete to make sure that it stands the test of time. We also ensure that you have direct contact with us throughout each stage of the process so that you are not left in the dark and always know exactly what the next step is going to be. We are a family owned business so it is easy to get hold of us and benefit from our 16 years experience in the pool game.
Step one: Will be the signing of the contract, with 5% of the total cost of the pool required on signing. This covers QBC (govt) insurance, engineering plans and council certification. A soil test will be needed in order to get engineering plans. Some clients already have soil test results but if not it will be an extra (not included) and usually costs around $455 in the Sunshine Coast area (actual cost may vary slightly). We are of course happy to arrange and book the soil test for you.
Step two: 25% of total payment is now required and, once received, we will dig the pool and steel will be delivered onsite. The next day we will come in and do the "box and steel" (framework) of the pool, as well as the placement of the plumbing pipes and gravel base.
Step three: 35% of total payment required. Once payment is received, the concrete will be sprayed over the framework and shaped. The following day we will do a site clean up, remove the boxing materials and any rubbish on site.
Step four: 10% of total payment required. The pool will be left to "cure" for 2 weeks before being tiled. The tiling is done on top of the beam around the pool. If you require a waterline tile, going from the beam down into the pool, it will be extra. Pipes will also be run in place ready for hook up to the pump and filter.
Construction of a pool fence is required at this stage, in order to satisfy council regulations and for safety. Fencing is not included in the price of the pool however we can arrange the fencing for you as an extra if needed.
Step five: 10% of total payment is made, followed by delivery of pump and filtration equipment.
Step six: 10% of total payment required. A certifier will inspect the pool fence, and once signed off we will book the pool in to be pebbled. Immediately upon being pebbled and acid-washed the pool will be filled with water, and hooked up to your pump and filter.
Step seven: The remaining 5% of total payment is now due and a handover will be done to explain how the equipment runs, along with the "do's-and-don’ts" of maintaining your pool.
